Stylist Position

Qualifications as required by State of Wisconsin: Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be a graduate of an accredited school/or participate in a Wisconsin Apprenticeship Program, and hold a State of Wisconsin Barber/practitioner license. Additional qualifications for employment at Appearances Unlimited: Must be a team player; must display highest standards of excellence, and must continue education on a regular basis.

Current openings: We are looking for a full-time or part-time stylist to better serve our expanding clientele.

Independent Hair Designer

Independent Hair Designer must meet qualifications as required by the State of Wisconsin including holding a valid Managers license. Must sign a lease agreement for one, three or five years*, must purchase own supplies. In addition to rental agreement fees, independent hair designer will be responsible for a percentage of advertisement, general supplies and miscellaneous as per expense, must have own equipment and must understand and agree to concepts of the salon as a whole.

*must have valid licensing , credit references and security deposit upon review of lease agreement. Leaser has right of denial.

Apprenticeship Program

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least18 years of age and must be accepted by the State of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Program.

Current openings: currently interviewing for the apprenticeship program; there is a waiting list for the next available opportunity.
